Package: snownews Version: 1.5.7-2 Severity: wishlist
There's a keystroke to unmark an item, but the other "mark read" keystrokes are either for everything, or for all of a feed. So instead, I emulate a "mark read" by stepping into the article, and immediately "q"ing back. I'd like for there to be just one keystroke. Or better yet. I'd like for the "mark unread" actually a "toggle read" that would suit me nicely. Hopefully, this is a sensible request. I have a lot of feeds, and sometimes I like to blow off crap articles explicitly as I go down the list. I haven't looked at the code, but it shouldn't be too crazy to implement, I'd imagine. I might look patch the source to help you out later. Any correspondence from you in favor of such a feature might motivate me to make such a patch sooner than later. - Sukant -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (90, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-hole Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages snownews depends on: ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-4 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libncursesw5 5.5-3 Shared libraries for terminal hand ii libxml2 2.6.26.dfsg-4 GNOME XML library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages snownews recommends: ii libxml-libxml-perl 1.59-2 Perl module for using the GNOME li pn libxml-libxslt-perl <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
