A supposedly fixed console-data has been uploaded to unstable
yesterday night. Please test it against the daily builds as of next
night, with regard to this alphabetical sorting problem.

Thanks for explanation, the screenshot is exactly what I saw. May I
suggest to add some short notice about this to the partitioning tool for
us lazy users who don't read installation manuals?

I've seen this too. Needs to be looked into.

It happened in both `installgui' and `install'. Please don't forget I
selected Czech as the installation language so the keyboard names were
presented in Czech.

That will be corrected with next localechooser upload.

I'm puzzled by the "keyboard list is not sorted". AFAIK it should
be. Did this happen only with the graphical installer?

This is expected, or could be a bug, depending on whether I
understood your description correctly. :-)

partman creates what looks like a single partition inside the
encrypted device. This is really a "virtual" partition though,
because it is not possible to create partitions on a dm-crypt or
loop-AES encrypted device (it can be done with LVM).

If one deletes that partition and creates a smaller one in it's
place, partman should show the remaining space as "unusable" like
in this screenshot: http://nusquama.org/~max/scratch/unusable.png
Does this match what you saw? If not, could you describe in more
detail what the screen looked like? Thanks.

cheers,
Max

Encrypted partitions are not further partitionable, but you can
achieve the described setup by using LVM inside the encrypted
partition -- fully supported by installer. (I have similar setup on my
laptop and everything works as expected, including swsusp.)

This is known bug #361090. For now, you can workaroud it by explicitly
selecting Czech in the GDM menu.
