Thanks for the offer. To be honest, if possible I'd prefer practical examples (e.g. content of (pseudo) files, examples of symlinks) over technical and theoretical documentation. Whether or not we need to look in proc, I doubt fixing this issue will be very hard. This can be determined by looking at properties under /proc/device-tree. Please let me know if this is needed and I will find the documentation.
