Bug#395124: Fixed with the metacity 2.22 upload

2008-03-20 Thread Alexandre Rossi
This should be closed because compositing is built in the new metacity 2.22.

Hello!

I've uploaded libcm; it needs review by the ftpmasters, and then we
 can support in metacity.

Now that libcm7 is in Debian maybe the version of metacity found in
experimental could be built with compositing enabled.

Thank you very much!

Cheers,
Fabian

There is a fairly recent tarball release of libcm in gnome ftp :

Bug#395124: Please build with compositing manager

2006-10-24 Thread Per Olofsson
Package: metacity
Version: 1:2.14.5-1
Severity: wishlist

Currently, it seems that metacity is built without the compositing
manager, which otherwise is the default. I think this is due to a
missing build-dependency on libxcomposite-dev.

Could you please add it? The compositing manager is not enabled by
default so it shouldn't break anything.
