Did you have time looking into this? I've just upgraded debian etch
without a change in behaviour. I've also tried it on a different
etch-system with the same results.

I'm working hard on some library migrations in MissingH, plus some
bacula stuff, but I hope to have a chance to look at it by the end of
the week.

Bug#399861: dfsbuild fails with: /path/to/Release: openFile: does not exist

2006-11-22 Thread Ralf Schlatterbeck
Package: dfsbuild
Version: 0.99.2
Severity: normal

I'm running dfsbuild against a local debian-etch (and -sarge) mirror. The
mirror is OK, it was used before to install a system. Note that I also tried
with

dlrepos = etch
suite = etch

and

dlrepos = etch
and removing all the amd64-related stuff resulting in the same error message.

dfsbuild terminates with the following message:

dfsbuild: /var/tmp/dfsbuild/target/var/cache/bootstrap/Release: openFile: does
not exist (No such file or directory)

I'm running it with the options
sudo dfsbuild -v -V -a i386 -w /var/tmp/dfsbuild -c /etc/dfsbuild/dfs-rsc.cfg

The config-file used is a modified version of the sample file
distributed. It only modifies the mirror statements, they are:

mirror = http://bee/debian

and in the [repo amd64] section:
mirror = http://bee/debian-amd64

These mirrors contain up-to-date debian-etch and -sarge mirrors updated
nightly.

On demand I can supply the whole -v -V output of dfsbuild.

Note that from the debug-output it seems to store the Release file under
a different name:
