With kernel 2.6.18, fblevel fails with the message

  ioctl PMU_IOC_GET_BACKLIGHT: Invalid argument

This is no doubt related to bugs 389693, 387545 and 387575. To summarize,
the CONFIG_PMAC_BACKLIGHT_LEGACY optiona that enables these ioctls is not
enabled. pbbuttonsd was changed to use the new interface. fblevel might be
changed similarly.
