Package: flashybrid Version: 0.13 Severity: important Justification: shows warning messages about installations on upgrades
When you install the package it will warn you that it modifies the way the system behaves. This is crucial since this package may brake some assumptions about the way your system behaves. However, those messages are needed only on the first install, and not in every update. Imagine a company developing an embbeded device using flashybrid, and then they issue some update. The confused user will get the warning about somthing out of his control (he has not installed the package, and he does not wish to remove it). The solution is to show the message only if the "service" is not up and running (by looking into /etc/default/flashybrid). -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
