As I've written the last time the only thing that is displayed is the
help message, but if you want it here it is.

$ hdate
hdate - example program for libhdate

USAGE: hdate [-sShdr]
   [-L longitude -l latitude]
   [-z timezone]
   [[[day] month] year]
OPTIONS:
   -s : Print sunrise/sunset times.
   -c : Print Shabat enter/leave times.
Shabat starts 20 min before sunset,
and exits when three stars are out.
   -t : Print day times -

-r : Print weekly reading on saturday.
-R : Print just weekly reading on saturday.

-l xx : Set the latitude for solar calculations to
xx degrees. Negative values are south.
-L xx : Set the longitude for solar calculations to
xx degrees. *Negative values are EAST*.
The -l and -L switches must both be used, or not at all.

Bug#414206: [Debian-hebrew-package] Bug#414206: neither 'hcal' nor 'hdate' work

2007-03-10 Thread kobi zamir

hello,

on my x86, unstable, hdate/hcal run as expected.
i can get the help message by giving bad parameters, e.g

# hcal 0 0 0
hcal - example program for libhdate

USAGE: hcal [-hid][[month] year]
OPTIONS:
  -h : Print html format.
-d : Use diaspora reading and holidays.
  -i : Use external css file ./hcal.css.

but i can not reproduce this error without parameters.

can you try and compile the package from source and see if it is a
deb-package thing. it may be a problem with the up stream source on
ppc (?)

code is in libhdate.sf.net:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=63109
and compiling instructions are here:
http://libhdate.sourceforge.net/install.html
