I can confirm this. Also, I can confirm that the line number is
correct when the forced error is somewhere in a macro definition, so
it is a clear bug.

Correct would be 45. Look here:

That depends on your point of view. Aide begins counting with line
zero, IIRC.

Maybe, but not a human... and this message is for a human, right?

I think fixing this would increase usability. Any other parser that
I know of points me to the line number where the first line is
number 1 not 0.
