no, in the bug reply i did't type your address ;-) > > Anyway, do you have any memory of what you tried and how it worked out? not too much memory :-(, i tried a lot, what in the end seemd to solve the issue, was this link i created: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 28 2007-04-14 00:05 /etc/sasl/smtpd.conf -> /etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd.conf > Could you try to reproduce your setup and see if the bug is still there? sorry, but it's productive now. So the only thing i tried was removing that link... and i can't reproduce the bug anymore. the versions: sasl2-bin: Source: cyrus-sasl2 Version: 2.1.22.dfsg1-8 postfix: Source: postfix (2.3.8-2) Version: 2.3.8-2+b1 everything chrooted but: proxymap, local, virtual, lmtp, anvil and some interfaces to non postfix software. so maybe you just close the bug and you might change the subject to: saslauthd with postfix broken after upgrade from sarge cheers --Jan
