Bug#422523: xchm: Crashes on Back when loading a web URL

2007-05-30 Thread Igor Stirbu

Hello,

For some reason I did not receive your messages and
I just thought that nobody cared. My bad.

The compressed core is about 2.8MB. You can find
in temporarily here: http://keo.uni.cc/xchm-1.13/core.gz
I can upload or attach it to a mail if you want.

Here are a little more detailed steps:
- open a chm which contains some kind of external
links pointing somewhere in the internet;
- click on that link. xchm will be trying to load that
page and it could take several moments;
- during the period of loading the page click on the
back button. At this moment xchm crashes.

Thanks,
Igor

Bug#422523: xchm: Crashes on Back when loading a web URL

2007-05-06 Thread Igor Stirbu
Package: xchm
Version: 2:1.13-1
Severity: important

The crash may be reproduced by pressing Back
button when xchm tries to load a web URL. After
the page is completely loaded Back button works
again.

I managed to reproduce it with different chm
files that had embedded web URLs. Well, it
might even reproduce with local links if the
page loading takes enough time, but I don't
have such a file.

If it helps, I can provide core dumps for xchm.
