Package: uswsusp Version: 0.6~cvs20070420-1.etch Severity: normal
If I setup uswsusp to use a swap file on a LVM parition, it doesn't work. It seems to go OK, it writes the image, but at the point that it should poweroff, I get back to where I issued `s2disk'. Checking at the offset where the image should have been written reveals that it didn't happen. Rafael thinks this is a kernel bug. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (20, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Kernel: Linux 2.6.20 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C (charmap=UTF-8) (ignored: LC_ALL set to nl_NL.utf8) Versions of packages uswsusp depends on: ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11 Debian configuration management sy ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libgcc1 1:4.1.1-21 GCC support library ii libgcrypt11 1.2.3-2 LGPL Crypto library - runtime libr ii libgpg-error0 1.4-1 library for common error values an ii libsplashy0 0.3.2 Library to draw splash screen on b ii libx86-1 0.99-1 x86 real-mode library ii zlib1g 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - runtime Versions of packages uswsusp recommends: ii initramfs-tools 0.87b tools for generating an initramfs ii mount 2.12r-19 Tools for mounting and manipulatin -- debconf information excluded -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
