It doesn't give me any stack trace and no usefull message when starting from a shell. hi, it's not reproducible on my configuration. Could you give me your libfam0 version, it's missing on the bug report: dpkg -l *fam* Kaffeine uses xine backend, is it reproducible using xine-ui ?
