Hi,
sysv-rc-conf exits abruptly when I hit r to restore my previous
settings. I get the following message to stderr:
Can't call method userdata on an undefined value at
/usr/sbin/sysv-rc-conf line 251.
I looked briefly at the script, but I really don't know my Perl, so I
didn't find the problem.
I'm marking this bug as important, because it poses a real danger for
anyone trying to correct and critical error they've made if they've
forgotten the system's original state.
Below I've appended my symlinks. None of the links are broken.
Whatever, the problem with my system, though, the script should not
error out; it should inform me of my problem gracefully.
