Bug#435743: qa.debian.org: Link for NEW packages returns 404

Has there been any public discussion about these pages actually being useful? I'm still fairly nervous about them, probably for no good reason. If you ask me, making information available is always useful. As Roberto said, problems can be found. If the new queue status page claims some bug is fixed in a package, I could take a look at the changelog (or other relevant information) for some more information about it. I believe we should just make the things we know publically available. That makes it the easiest to get new things done with them, or just get some specific information for which you'd otherwise have to ask an FTP master. If the generation of those pages could be linked to the generation of the NEW queue status page, and even linked from there, I think that would be ideal. In this most recent case (the URL in the initial bug report), it probably saved me a REJECT. I had apparently forgotten to update the debian/copyright file (never replaced the boilerplate with specific copyright notices). When I saw that, I immediately fixed it and uploaded a new version. Incidentally, would it be possible to have those same URLs linked from the version strings listed on the NEW page [0]? Should I file a seperate bug report for that?
