Bug#436339: vlc: VLC doesn't stop screensaver
Package: vlc Version: 2.0.0-6 Followup-For: Bug #436339 I have been suffering this very same problem. It does not happen on smplayer. I just ran cvlc and found the following messages on the console. It does seem to be delayed, however. I'm using KDE if it makes any difference. The problem does not occur with Kaffeine nor did I experience it when I ran Etch. - Shape Yahoo! in your own image.
