By the way, I'm considering the use of iso-codes and isoquery to translate languages and country names, could a DD ask for adding those two packages on wolkenstein? My first local try are quite encouraging, so I'll continue digging on that. This list is also used in other places (mirrors list ...), and for those other places names in different cases are needed. signature.asc Description: Digital signature

In Polish, unlike in English, is 7 (seven) forms of each noun e.g. for Egipt there are: Egipt, Egiptu, Egiptowi, Egipt, Egiptem, Egipcie, Egipcie but for Arabia different: Arabia, Arabii, Arabii, Arabię, Arabią, Arabii, Arabio. > You can fix it in : > debian/webwml/polish/po/countries.pl.po In the debian/webwml/polish/po/countries.pl.po is only the first form. It is used in various pages (e.g. /webwml/polish/CD/vendors/index.wml) and change this is *not* the right solution. The ukrainian solution (by Eugeniy Meshcheryakov) is simple but this change English original text. Regards Wojciech

Well, for Ukrainian it looks like this: # ar_EG (Арабська, Єгипет) for Polish, I guess, it can look like this: # ar_EG (arabski, Egipt) signature.asc Description: Digital signature
Bug#444965: Bad declension on page http://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po/ in Polish
Package: www.debian.org Severity: normal Tags: l10n Recently I've translated this page. Most of lines with countries has in Polish bad declension e.g.: # ar_EG (arabski, używany w Egipt) - should be "w Egipcie" # ar_OM (arabski, używany w Oman) - w Omanie # ar_SA (arabski, używany w Arabia Saudyjska) - w Arabii Saudyjskiej # ar_SY (arabski, używany w Syrian Arab Republic) - w Syryjskiej Republice Arabskiej # ar_TN (arabski, używany w Tunezja) - w Tunezji etc. This list is automatically generated, so I don't know if and how can I correct it. I think this bug is related to other slavonic languages too. Help, please.
