Instead of just making the 'bind' option work for HTTP only, I added a new option 'apt_bind' that will bind only the apt requests, while the original 'bind' will bind the peer requests. It seems the original 'bind' option may be useful to some (perhaps if they have multiple interfaces?). So, you'll want to leave the 'bind' option blank, and just specify the 'apt_bind' option. I've uploaded the fixed package to my repository as version 0.1.4.3 if you want to try it out, since the just released version means this fix might not get released for a while.
