Package: libgeoip1 Version: 1.3.17-1.1 Hi,
I've seen that the /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIP.dat file belongs to the libgeoip1 package and thus gets rarely updated. I would suggest splitting this package into libgeoip1 and libgeoip1-data (or similar, architecture-independent package) and updating the -data package each month or so.
