Bug#455014: gajim: get password from netrc
Ian If a password for an account is not saved, gajim should try to get Ian it from the user's ~/.netrc file. Python has netrc parsing module Ian right there in the standard library, so this is easy. There is Ian really no excuse for yet another mode 600 file containing my Ian passwords. Yann .netrc file is used to store FTP login / passwords. As Gajim is not a Yann FTP client, I don't see why we should use it. Also used by fetchmail and Gnus. At least. -- Ham is for reading, not for eating. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
