Bug#455081: Time for upgrade or new package

2007-12-12 Thread Nicolas Spalinger

reassign 455081 ttf-sil-gentium-basic
thanks

Yes, Gentium Basic needs to go into a new package as the two fonts are
released separately upstream and have different usage scenarios.

I will take care of that.

Bug#455081: Time for upgrade or new package

2007-12-08 Thread Juhapekka Tolvanen
Package: ttf-sil-gentium
Version: 1.02+dfsg-4
Severity: wishlist

SIL has released more font families in their Gentium fonts. Unlike
former Gentium fonts, bold versions are provided too. Those new font
familiess are called Gentium Basic and Gentium Book Basic. Both families
include regular, italic, bold and bold italic weights. They are still
beta-version, but maybe they will get more testers, if they are
available as Debian-packages, too.

I'm subscribed to their news. The point is that I don't know if this
should
go into the existing ttf-sil-gentium package or not. There's already
another

ITP for a new package at #451201.

Nicolas, what do you think? New package or shall I integrate both into
this one?
