   I put up the patch about a week ago (before this reply).  Does it look

 I'm afraid there's a problem with my patch.  Please remove the file
 hdf5-H5public-openmpi.patch and the line in the debian/rules
 install-openmpi target which applies it.  It could cause breakage and
 should not be there.

Just curious, any progress or timeline hints for the next upload?  (Are
you packaging 1.8.0?)  I have a some packages I'd like to upload which
use this, and would like to start to port them sooner rather than later.

That is, unless you're planning to just stick with 1.6.x for the lenny
release...
