Bug#462192: overwrites config files on upgrade

2008-01-22 Thread Brian May
Package: ldap-account-manager
Severity: important
Version: 1.1.1-2

Either the BTS is very very slow today, or my bugs aren't getting through. My
apologies if this is a duplicate. I used an invalid email address for the first
one, and can't fix it without the ticket id.

Anyway, the following files are contained in the package, and are not marked as
conffiles. This means they get overwritten on every upgrade.

/var
/var/lib
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf/logos
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf/logos/printLogo.jpg
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf/default.user.xml
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf/default.smbDomain.xml
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf/default.host.xml
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf/default.mailAlias.xml
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/pdf/default.group.xml
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles/default.mailAlias
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles/default.host
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles/default.user
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles/default.smbDomain
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles/default.group
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles/.htaccess
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/.htaccess
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/language
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/shells
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/lam.conf_sample
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/config.cfg_sample
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/selfService
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/selfService/.htaccess
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/sess
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/sess/.htaccess
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/tmp
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/tmp/.htaccess
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/config.cfg

In my case I have modified
/var/lib/ldap-account-manager/config/profiles/default.user
via the web front end.
