Hi Brandon,

could you please test if the misbehaviour still exists in
dvgrab-3.2?

I only saw error message Error writing frame! if there was
no space on harddisk to save the clip.
What show df command?

Bye,

Erik

Bug#471080: dvgrab 3.1-1 aborts capture with a std::string error

2008-03-15 Thread Brandon Ehle
Package: dvgrab
Version: 3.1-1

I'm using a dvgrab to capture some HDV footage off of a Canon HV30
over IEEE1394.

Running dvgrab 3.1-1 (from the Debian unstable package), I get a
std::string error during capture about 5 to 10 seconds into the
capture.

With the dvgrab 3.0-1 package, it successfully captures the entire 10
minute clip.

Output from dvgrab 3.1-1

/tmp# dvgrab -a -f hdv test.m2t
