Bug#471080: dvgrab 3.1-1 aborts capture with a std::string error
Package: dvgrab Version: 3.1-1 I'm using a dvgrab to capture some HDV footage off of a Canon HV30 over IEEE1394. Running dvgrab 3.1-1 (from the Debian unstable package), I get a std::string error during capture about 5 to 10 seconds into the capture. With the dvgrab 3.0-1 package, it successfully captures the entire 10 minute clip. Output from dvgrab 3.1-1 /tmp# dvgrab -a -f hdv test.m2t Found AV/C device with GUID 0x850001a01636 Capture Started Error writing frame! test001.m2t: 0.00 MiB 0 frames timecode 00:00:00.15 date 2008.03.14 22:06:48 Capture Stopped terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::string' Aborted Running debian unstable with the vanilla 2.6.24 kernel.
