Bug#471503: devscripts: [regression] uscan --upstream-version is broken

2008-03-18 Thread Julien Cristau
Package: devscripts
Version: 2.10.16
Severity: normal
User: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Usertags: uscan

Hi,

svn r1002 broke uscan for me. I often update debian/changelog before
downloading the upstream tarball, and then run 'uscan --upstream-version
0 --rename' to get the tarball. This is now broken. The following
steps should be enough to reproduce:
$ debcheckout libxss
$ cd libxss
$ uscan --upstream-version 0
uscan warning: Unable to determine current version
  in debian/watch, skipping:
  http://xorg.freedesktop.org/releases/individual/lib/
libXScrnSaver-(.*)\.tar\.gz

Please fix.

TIA,
Julien

Ugh; apologies for the fubar :-/

I've fixed my local copy and will commit the fix to svn later this evening.

Adam
