 Sorry for the misspelling .
 in help choose software updates then find and install
 choose search new features -
 then check on both of the options
 and presses on finish.

 after all data had been downloaded (the avlibale plugins).
 start choosing plugins from Callisto project.

 if you start to install them and one _CORE_ competent failed to
 install (server error or FS error permeations or whatever) -
 if the user that run the applet try to start eclipse he will not be
 able to  run it (sometimes).

 I had this issue when install of core update failed and i was
 obligated to delete all .eclipse directory since all data plugins
 stored there.

 hope this is more explanfull .

Can you please add al this info (and the links from the other mail too)
to the according bug reports). This allows others to help too.
