Bug#484267: compiz-core: compiz fails to load saying Couldn't find plugin 'cpp'

After doing a recent aptitude upgrade on my testing system, compiz no
longer loads.  The error message is Couldn't find plugin 'cpp'.

Already reported multiple times.  Version mismatch between compiz-core
and libcompizconfig.

Apologies - none of the bug titles seemed to match my symptoms.
Problem now fixed on my machine by using unstable packages.
