I found a patch for driver 8.7 at http://phorogit.com/index.php?p=fglrx-packaging.gitdl=plainh=a94205d6bb86 dbf154c3e519b6da869c529cafe4 But it doesn't apply cleanly, but the junk parts are just formating fixes, so I removed the trouble chunks. The refreshed patch is attached, with which I am able to compile the kernel module out, and loading it succeeded without problem. Please consider an update targeting unstable, and as this is an important bug, a freeze exception should be possible. Many thanks for your work. The upstream patch is horrible, but let's hope we'll drop it with next release... It is commited to the svn, you can test the package generated from there, though I'm sure it's working. Will do as soon as i386 version is uploaded. There are little chance it will be buil for i368 from non-free experimental. Could compile it yourself too ?
