Thanks This is really a problem in liblwipv6-2, so I'm reassigning the bug. I'll hopefully release a fixed version in a few days time. Do you have netlink sockets support compiled in your kernel? I use the standard debian kernel debian64:~# dpkg -l linux-image-2.6.25-2-amd64 Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold | Status=Not/Inst/Cfg-files/Unpacked/Failed-cfg/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend |/ Err?=(none)/Hold/Reinst-required/X=both-problems (Status,Err: uppercase=bad) ||/ Name Version Description +++--- ii linux-image-2.6.25-2-amd64 2.6.25-7 Linux 2.6.25 image on AMD64 I could not find the config option you refer to, but as the default kernel has more or less everything enabled, I would assume: yes I have. the lwipv6 umview module has been recently superseded by umnetlwipv6 I'll have a look at that, but did not understand till now exactly how to use it. (The wiki is very short) I will work on this. Thanks AChim -- Pt! Schon vom neuen GMX MultiMessenger gehört? Nevertheless, I agree, lwipv6 seems to be broken on amd64. JFYI, the lwipv6 umview module has been recently superseded by umnetlwipv6. Please take a look at http://wiki.virtualsquare.org/index.php/UMNET_modules#umnetlwipv6 for the new module (that is a sub-module of the umview module umnet). Unfortunately, it seems to be broken too. I will work on this.
