After experimenting with backups with that machine I previously mentioned, I can confirm that it definitely was the lack of an installed busybox that caused that issue.
Given how severe the consequences are for not having it installed (i.e. lock without indication of the problem) maybe this is something that should be fixed for Lenny? I notice in a google that some Ubuntu users are getting caught by this as well. -- Regards, Sheridan Hutchinson [EMAIL PROTECTED]
