Package: debhelper
Version: 7.0.17
Severity: wishlist
Hi, Joey.
I'm packaging a program that upstream (me) has provided an LSB-ized,
sane init script, but dh_installinit only seems to care about init
scripts that are in the debian/ directory.
Is there any way to inform dh_installinit to use a file that is not
under the debian/ directory?
This would avoid dirty hacks like hardlinking the initscript into
debian/ on the build: target and removing them on the clean target..
Please, do consider this feature request.
Regards, Rogério Brito.
