  fine when using qemu:///system directly on khyber?

 Yes, 0.5.0 on both sides, and it works fine locally, but hangs when
 I use SSH.
I still have no idea on this once. Running virsh like:

LIBVIRT_DEBUG=1 virsh -c qemu+ssh://remote/system

might give us some more information. You can also run libvirtd on the
remote side as root as:

/etc/init.d/libvirtd stop
LIBVIRT_DEBUG=1 /usr/sbin/libvirtd

Maybe this gives us a hint.

i like .net for the same reason i like gentoo. it keeps all the
 people with no clue from writing c code, which is much harder for me
 to identify and eliminate from my systems. in the same way that
 gentoo gives those people a place to be that isn't in debian

 I am trying to connect to a remote libvirt node, using

   virsh -c qemu+ssh://[EMAIL PROTECTED]/system

 SSH connectivity is fine, and on the remote side, a

   nc -U /var/run/libvirt/libvirt-sock

 is created by user madduck. However, the command just hangs (strace

Works fine here with 0.4.6/0.5.0/0.5.1.
