Package: dar Version: 2.3.8-3 Severity: wishlist Hi,
it would be helpful, if dar would print the errors occured during restore at the end. Why? When I was on the konsole restoring a 120 GB /home file system, dar printed at the very end in the summary something like "2 filesystem errors". Since I didn't save the dar output in a file, I didn't know how to get any details about the error, because the console history is only a few pages. Thus, I removed everything and extracted the 120 GB again, this time saving the dar output (there were two CRC checksum errors in two irrelevant files). If dar would have printed the error messages at the end, they would have been very likely accessible using page-up in the konsole. Thanks for the nice dar program!
