I suppose that Debian GNOME maintainers pondered very carefully the dependencies of gnome-desktop-environment and, if they did put gnome-audio as a "Suggests" only, they probably have good reasons. Stefano, The package "gnome-desktop-environment" only "Suggests: gnome-audio", and so will not install gnome-audio by default during the debian lenny install. Would I be correct in saying that the debian-installer would have to be configured to include gnome-audio for it to be installed. Having gnome-audio installed as part or the debian lenny installation would seem to be a logical to me. Do you believe that gnome-audio should be installed by default during a Debian Lenny installation ?
