This utilities are intended for get vendor info from mac, or to test valid macs for a vendor. Theses are very simple scripts, we use it for add info to log files, to check if a mac especified is valid for a especific vendor... At the moment it only contains the following utils: * Show the vendor from a OUI id, or from a MAC string (in various format) * Show all the vendor names that contains a substring * Show all the OUI ids valid for a vendor Hope this info help Best regards -- Hasta otra!!! I can split the package in a update-oui stuff and another one with the other utils included in the EtherVendors package (this utils are oriented to work with ethernet MACs) This second package EtherVendors should depend on the update-oui (or whatever) so It shouldn't contains the oui registry list. Have you a ITP for the oui registry download/upgrade? Best regards -- Hasta otra!!!
