Hi, I don't know why, but I upgrade some testing package (not directly linked to XSane) and it works again in normal way ! So you can close that issue, I will contact you if it happen again ! Because your screenshot really looks like a bug somewhere in the GTK/KDE/X stack. Very weird. Any ATI or nVidia drivers involved? So you can close that issue, I will contact you if it happen again !
