not needed anymore, but it was some time ago when gnunets binary
packages were shuffled around.

Bug#527453: gnunet: not Bin-NMU safe

2009-05-07 Thread Adeodato Simó
Package: gnunet
Version: 0.8.0b-5
Severity: important

Hello,

the gnunet source package is not Bin-NMU safe because an arch:all
package ("gnunet") tries to depend on arch:any packages with a strict
version. This is not supported (can't be).

Please reconsider whether the scrict version requirement is really
needed (it seems gnunet is a metapackage, so unless there's good reasons
for it, I would say it is not), and drop it in that case. If it's really
needed, you'll have to do one of the "Depends: foo (>= $VERSION), foo
(<< $SOMETHING_ELSE)" tricks.

Thanks,
