Bug#533039: libasound2-plugins: Choppy sound with Alsa-Pulse plugin
notfound 533039 1.0.23-1 thanks Can you reproduce this symptom using the latest packages in testing? I believe I saw some related upstream fix a long time ago, the bug has been gone for quite some time already, too. So I belive it is fixed in testing, although I run unstable + some things from experimental. It might already be fixed in 1.0.21 Regards, Erich -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact listmas...@lists.debian.org
Bug#533039: [Pkg-alsa-devel] Bug#533039: libasound2-plugins: Choppy sound with Alsa-Pulse plugin
tags 533039 normal thanks * Erich Schubert [090614 10:29 +0200] Package: libasound2-plugins Version: 1.0.20-1 Severity: important With the latest libasound2-plugins and using pulseaudio, I have choppy sound, but ONLY when using alsa. E.g. mplayer with direct pulse output is working just fine. Judging from pulse volume control, the alsa-plugin keeps on disconnecting and reconnecting, which might explain the poor sound quality. Seems to be pulse-audio related?
