Package: xmlstarlet
Version: 1.0.1-2
Severity: normal

xmlstarlet should return a non-zero exit code when an error occurs, as
in Unix convention.

Example of current behavior:

$ xmlstarlet sel -t -c / /nonexistent; echo "$?"
warning: failed to load external entity "/nonexistent"
0

This makes it hard to write reliable scripts/programs that do
something meaningful on error.
