#615281 is a duplicate of this bug, and I think its severity
(Important) is appropriate here. The fact that the package fails to
build is in itself justification for (at least) this severity, but in
addition, normal use of the package could also easily be broken by
such a situation, where the systems administrator has configured only
IPv6 resolvers (in /etc/resolv.conf, independent of any particular
configuration relating to this module).

As per my other bug, libnet-dns-perl should Depend and Build-Depend on
libio-socket-inet6-perl.

Cheers,
Dominic.

2009-09-20 Thread Florian Hinzmann
Hello!

I will suggest the IPv6 package for now and discuss whether
recommending it might be even better. In light of IPv6 support
being a release goal this might be appropriate.

 Regards
