Bug#567118: unable to use my mobile as network connexion

2010-01-27 Thread newbeewan

Package: network-manager-kde
Version: 1:0.9~svn1075616-1

Severity: important

Hi,

I just migrate from the previews experimental (svn1054632-1) I loose the connectivity with
my mobile phone !

When I connect my phone (Sony-ericson w880i), it is detected :
[18404.716051] usb 2-1: new full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 9
[18404.892096] usb 2-1: New USB device found, idVendor=0fce, idProduct=d068

[18409.721793] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_UP): usb0: link is not ready

Before upgrading, usb0 would be bring on by networkmanager with dhcp without any other
configuration...

Now, when i connect my phone, only serial port is shown and no more usb0 !
If I connect in the same time an RJ45 cable, the usb0 appears but i can't
select it.
In syslog everything seem to work but dhcp could not get an ip address by usb0 !
here the full log if it could help :

Have you also upgrade network-manager? Which versions of network-manager and
dependended packages do you have.
Could you try network-manager-gnome and test if it works there.

Thanks,
