I would like investigating this bug, even if for now I don't have this
problem. But I need some more details on this :

- first, on a up-to-date squeeze with 2.6.32, but still using the old
ata stack (CONFIG_BLK_DEV_IDE_PMAC=y), I don't have any problem with
ofpath even if /proc/scsi/scsi is missing. So, the title of this bug is
wrong : ofpath seems to work correctly without /proc/scsi/scsi.

- second, is your problem that ofpath doesn't work on disks using the
libata stack ? If I am correct, I will try to reproduce it on 2.6.33
with the macio driver (it's the only way for me to test a libata
driver).

Thanks for any information, like the output of ofpath failing when on
the installer, and the like ...
