Bug#576998: ITP: etherpad -- web based collaborative real-time editor

2010-11-07 Thread vschmitt
Hello,

I'm sorry I'm not working on this package anymore. I think it was too
complicated for my first packaging, what's more I don't have much time to
spend on it at the moment.
A version of my package can be found in http://deb.bearstech.com/etherpad/
but it doesn't fit the Debian rules for packaging.

Bug#576998: ITP: etherpad -- web based collaborative real-time editor

2010-07-15 Thread Valentin SCHMITT
Hi,

I've build the package from the source I got at
http://github.com/ether/pad/ (using the debian folder provided), I've
just patched it to use java-6-openjdk instead of java-6-sun (as I
described it here
http://forge.bearstech.com/trac/wiki/EtherpadOpenJDK ) and it works.

I think I'll put the finishing touches to the package before the end of
the week, and then, maybe Loic Dachary could check it and upload it.

By the way, what do you think about a version of etherpad that would use
openjdk instead of java-sun ?

Cheers,
Valentin.

Hi,

Is there a preliminary package somewhere ? I found
http://github.com/ether/pad/tree/master/debian/ but I'm not sure if it
is related to this ITP.

Cheers
