Well, as the problem only appears when upgrading from an old profile (IIRC, it was even a very old profile from before thunderbird 1.5), and even then only with some profiles (the problem didn't appeared with my wifes profile), it certainly isn't serious. So I'm downgrading it. As I have created a new profile by now, it isn't a proiblem for me anymore, so you may also close it.
