This bug is still present. I am using ATI's proprietary Catalyst 10.10 driver, so I guess I would not be surprised if it is a problem in the driver. It happens with Xv output but not XShm. X log attached with backtrace showing a segfault within memcpy. The same file plays fine in Xine using the older xine-ui interface. Other files that I've tested play fine in GXine.
