I've rebuild the package for squeeze with the fix and all work well.

do you know when this patch will be included on the mainstream ?

the official manteiner of this package is still active ?

Hi,

I fixed the patch to work on current version and created a new package 
[1] for chkrootkit.
This one really works in silent mode, and thus, avoid receiving an email 
from cron everydays with false positives or empty lines.
