Hello,
same problem here. Scrolling the timeline stopped working after my last 
dist-upgrade.

KDE, Qt4 and libc6 were upgraded.
It worked well with the older versions.

right over scrollbar, and works correctly on all others apps with KDE and e17 
(mouse wheel, central button of touchpad, and vertical edge scroll of 
touchpad).
