Also it is wrong not to document that NO_COLOR environment variable. If this is because I maintain man-db, I don't want to be CCed on every bug report that happens to be about man pages. Please don't CC me on future mails without explaining why. -- Colin Watson [cjwat...@debian.org] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Bug#586171: respect $TERM and/or provide --no-color
Package: ffmpeg Version: 5:0.6~svn20100603-0.0 Severity: wishlist File: /usr/bin/ffmpeg The program assumes a certain kind of terminal or something, and puts escape sequences into the output to make different colors, and does not consult $TERM or offer a --no-color option to turn it off. I however have discovered a workaround: $ ffmpeg x.flv y.mp3 21|cat -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-bugs-dist-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble?
