Moving old database directories to /var/backups: Loading from /var/backups/slapd-2.4.17-2.1: - restoring DB_CONFIG for directory dc=hidden,dc=africa,dc=... - loading DB for directory dc=hidden,dc=africa,dc=... failed. Can you please sent the /etc/ldap/slapd.conf so we can check what's wrong in the configuration ? (see the dot at the end) this is information not correctly filled in. Ok, I'll add a check in the scripts to prevent this from happening, I'm not sure how you could possibly setup the database this way. As far as I know OpenLDAP doesn't allow this. I'm going to test this.
