Bug#600979: xserver-xorg-video-radeon: with a secondary user login via a new gdm session video playing colour is too dark

2011-02-21 Thread Cyril Brulebois
dave b db.pub.m...@gmail.com (22/02/2011):
Actually it turns out to be a totem bug. When I play a video on
that second session - it screws up the video (makes it dark). If I
 use vlc it doesn't occur.

Is that really a totem bug, or does the difference com from the
backend used in the players? Might still be a bug in some X layer…

Got some feedback from totem folks?

KiBi.

2010-10-21 Thread david b
Package: xserver-xorg-video-radeon
Version: 1:6.13.1-2
Severity: normal

Story: watch a video on secondary x session.
As An admin
I want to let other users use my system and let them watch videos
So that they won't get too bored ;)

When I start a new session as another user via gdm
And I try play a video using vlc.
Then I see a dark version of the video shown.

The above should be:
When I start a new session as another user via gdm
And I try play a video using vlc.
Then I see the video.

It doesn't matter which video player I use.
